Mike Espy(D-MS) has a better chance getting elected to the US Senate in 2020 than in 2018.

In 2020, there is no blanket primary. Hyde Smith is likely to lose in the Republican primary to McDaniel. Black voter turnout in Presidential Election year will be higher than in Midterm election year.
