Related: About this forumCan someone explain what the hell is going on in this clip?
To an outsider, it looks very much as if a Labour MP is attacking someone from another party for saying good things about Labour's new leader and promising not to split the left-of-center vote at the next general election.
Does this MPs attitude make an sense to any of you?

I think that if you replace "for" with "who is, inter alia," that would be accurate.

He doesn't ask to join Labour. He doesn't call on Left Unity members to infiltrate Labour. He is simply saying Left Unity likes what is happening in the Labour Party at the moment and that they are going to make things a little easier for Labour by not standing against them in the next elections.
It's not like as if he's accusing Johnson of bestiality.
