Then the botched investigation that lead to her arrest likely destroyed any chance of bringing effective prosecution against the real murderer(s).

And if Ms. Knox is guilty but the Italian Supreme court upholds the appellate court decision the same thing holds true - that the police and prosecutors ineptness destroyed any chance at justice for Ms. Kercher.

It makes you wonder if the Italians study in L.A. the O.J. case. No justice either.

Where"s the justice for David Ranta or Anthony Caravella? And since they are released. where's the justice for Rabbi Chaskel Werzberger and Ada Cox Jankowski?

With the complete removal of the finding of the appeal by the Court of Cassation she remains guilty as found. in the first trial.

Lots of mention elsewhere on DU of double jeopardy which this isn't.

Given that Guede left his DNA all over the crime scene, and that the prosecution couldn't find even the smallest quantity of Sollecito or Knox's DNA that could place them there, I suggest Sherlock Holmes would say that, having eliminated the impossible, whatever you are left with however improbable, must be the answer. So, Guede committed rape and murder. Nothing else fits the bare, physical facts. And that's without looking at the prosecuter's background, Guede's form with burglary and knife possession, the extracted "confessions", and everything else that made the so called trial a farce.

Guede is a danger to young women and will remain so even after he's completed his joke sentence.
