and you can't predict a birth date. Bank holidays need months of notice, at least, for businesses to plan.

but as Mu said its unpredictable. Maybe the next year if they want a reason for another Bank Hol.

Plenty of jokes circulatiing that the baby was probably conceived following the Womens Beach Volleyball at the Olympics.
