http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2012/aug/06/nick-clegg-blocks-boundary-changesYou really, really, really couldn't make this shower up.
Could they just put this Sixth Form Debating Club of a "Government" to rest and let someone half-way competent have a go?
Pretty please?

Well, whatever the childish motives, I'd be glad NOT to have the Tories do the Great Gerrymander

I agree, but I note that previously, Clegg was happy enough to go along with the gerrymandering ...

Won't affect things much where I live - too near Davy's nice safe constituency for him to want to make lots of changes in the area; but would favour the Tories in many places; which is no doubt the purpose.
I see signs of the coalition breaking up before too long. Maybe I'm optimistic, but the RW Tories seem to be leaning heavily on Dave, and the LibDems outside parliament (insofar as there still are any) are also getting restive.
Ed M. may not be perfect, but he'd be a positive genius compared with this lot!

At the present time stopping gerrymandering is a more important priority then Lord's reform.
