From my albeit limited knowalge of Canadian politics I know Alberta is pretty conservative. Know there loss last time was a big deal.

Kenney also promising a big tax cut for the rich. Maybe that will not sit well either. People are hurting. Alberta is a boom or bust place (coffee places were paying $18 an hour 10 years ago). NDP only beating the Kenny in one of the two big cities. Nowhere else as of yesterday.

I have a feeling that these allegations won't stop Kenny from taking office, unfortunately. He's promising the moon, of course.

There's a story out today on CBC with some economic analyst saying no leader can possibly bring back Alberta bitumen. I believe that's true.
