CBC: Election call tapes being reviewed by Conservatives

The Conservative Party is reviewing tapes of every call made by the Responsive Marketing Group call centre in Thunder Bay, Ont., in the last election before Elections Canada investigators arrive next week, CBC News has learned.

If in fact the Conservatives are reviewing the records first, then there is a good chance that either the evidence will go missing or be doctored, or it could potentially swing wildly in the other direction of evidence tampering, and obstructing an investigation. My level of faith in the Harper government would indicate the first scenario. The article does however show the level of indifference or incompetence at the hands of Elections Canada. These records should have instantly been sealed as evidence.
