right down to the nation that is using OUR oil to slaughter thousands upon thousands with that War Machine of theirs!
I think we should market our oil elsewhere . .

USA has HUGE reserves, and untapped oil wells - but they are wise in an evil way insomuch that they will use everyone else's oil for their War Machine, keeping years of oil in reserve should their outside suppliers run out.

(5,604 posts)is that Canada has a strategic maple syrup reserve, but does not have its own strategic oil reserve.
It just re-enforces that Canada has always been nothing more than resource grab for the well connected, and otherwise a colony of hewers of wood, drawers of (now) tar, and occasionally suppliers of cannon fodder.
