Democratic National Committee chair visits Wyoming

WILSON – As the architect of the party’s “blue wave” election in 2018, Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez has quickly risen to prominence as a grassroots organizer on a national scale.

In 30 minutes of remarks, Perez focused on issues like public lands access and the state’s Republican-led Legislature and its repeated votes against expanding Medicaid. Additionally, he called out Sen. John Barrasso and his efforts to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, calling the former physician’s efforts a “violation of the Hippocratic Oath.”
