If you know a WI vet who is denied BadgerCare, they should go to the VA wesbsite and check to see if they qualify.
It doesn't do any good for their family, BUT avoiding a vet's uninsured medical bills would certainly benefit a family.
Criteria are subject to change, so with that caveat...a person can check eligibility at this site:
