She'd make a great governor, and I think a new face is exactly what we need to win this thing next year.

Here is the story in today's Journal-Sentinel:
http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/democrats-testing-the-waters-for-scott-walker-challengers-b9948722z1-214488951.html

It says Democrats are conducting polls on "several" good candidates, one of whom is Mary Burke, a former commerce secretary for Doyle and executive of Trek Bicycles (her father founded the company) and now on the Madison school board. One gets the impression from the article that her most important features her sex and the money she could put into a campaign. It also mentions a number of negatives, deserved or not, that the Republicans are ready to pounce on (outsourcing work on the bicycles?).

This doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Kathleen Vinehout has more experience in politics and would be a better fit for the state as a whole than the "Madison liberal" that the article describes. I know I would be a lot more motivated to work for Kathleen.
