Right Wing Attempting to Rewrite History of Criminal Investigation of Walker Administration

"As the right wing rushes to rewrite history upon the conclusion of the John Doe criminal probe, the fact is six aides and associates of Gov. Walker, several under his direct supervision, were guilty of serious crimes like laundering campaign contributions, embezzling and campaigning on public time.

"Top campaign staff regularly participated in public policy decision making and exhorted public employees to pay more attention to political considerations. And his Deputy Chief of Staff pled guilty to charges stemming from illegal campaign activity she engaged in on public time, under the direct supervision of Walker.

"Now that Gov. Walker is engaged in his next campaign and is actively courting Tea Party extremists and out-of-state millionaires and billionaires to fund his future political ambitions, the questionable ethics and illegal behavior of the past should be of great concern for the future.

"Perhaps now that the investigation is concluded, Gov. Walker will see fit to disclose who was bankrolling his legal defense in this criminal probe."

With like-minded friends produced a non-surprised consensus over the outcome of the investigation. Walker is the new Teflon Don. Mr Eagle Scout. During the candid discussion we admitted holding out hope for an indictment was more a false-hope-morale-booster than realistic optimism it would happen. It kinda worked in a way. Now there's only just over a year until the Gubernatorial campaign starts instead of losing hope last June. Time can be a major damper on enthusiasm. The Jon Doe bought several more months.

Others brought up as potential Gov candidates were Lena Taylor and Peter Barca. I'm personally a big fan of Barca and wanted him to run during the recall. He was right in the thick during act 10 and displayed outstanding leadership.
