Wisconsin: Serial Killer Resigns Post in Walker Administration

http://uppitywis.org/mike-tate-dennis-smith-resignation

MADISON -- News is breaking that Scott Walker's healthcare czar, Dennis Smith, is resigning his position as DHS secretary. Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate released the following statement: “From day one, Dennis Smith was more interested in an extreme ideology than in advocating for the health and well-being of Wisconsinites.

“In Washington, D.C., Smith was the mastermind of some of the Tea Party’s most radical public health policies, including outright advocacy against Medicare and Medicaid and Wisconsin’s successful SeniorCare program, and he brought that same extremism with him to Madison.

“Starting with a plan to kick 30,000 kids off healthcare, thwarted only by the Obama administration, Smith sought the kind of deep cuts that would lead to massive shortfalls in public health programs and leave thousands of Wisconsinites uninsured.

“And in what would prove to be his finale in Wisconsin, Dennis Smith helped Scott Walker reject a plan that would have created 10,000 jobs, saved the state $66 million and expanded healthcare to 175,000 Wisconsinites.

...Dennis Smith now is known for two things in his time in the Walker Administration. The first being he wants to destroy Medicaid (and with the help of Scott Walker he looks like he is going to be successful in that) and using Wisconsin taxpayer money to hire his high school crush and bring her to Madison.

It seems as though Mr. Smith, when interviewing for the position of chief legal counsel, interviewed a total of one candidate. Working in the back yard of one of the most prestigious law schools in the country, Mr. Smith felt that no one in Wisconsin could possibly do the job as well as someone that he allegedly once took to senior prom in high school. Apparently she looked good enough in her dress that night that she did not need to be practicing law at the time nor have any working knowledge of WI.

Last August this all came to head, because while Dennis Smith was using our taxpayer dollars to bring his high school crush to Madison (using our taxpayer dollars to do so), it seems that her husband was not so excited about it. Andrew Spear, allegedly came across some emails, confirming his suspicion that Smith and his wife were having an affair...

I agree the guy is an asshole but calling him a serial killer is a bit over the top.

for Smith....he was a hired gun...come into Wisconsin, do the dirty work and get out....

he did exactly that..

the rumor mill said he planned on staying only "18 months or so"....watch out for Kitty who is taking his place and the political hacks/cronies she puts in place.
