Republicans Work for Voter-Proof Supermajority in WI

Twelve competitive legislative races could determine whether Republicans win a supermajority in Wisconsin:

Republicans are closely eyeing the possibility of securing a supermajority in the state Assembly and Senate — an achievement that would allow them to overcome a governor’s vetoes. Democrats’ are trying to prevent this outcome, so if Evers is reelected, his power to veto legislation will remain intact.

They asked for a mathematical proof. They got one, it was gerrymandered. Of course common sense would say if you get between 46-54 pp percent of the vote, then you should have a similar percentage of seats...not a supermajority.

It started with bush v gore, citizen united made it worse, and rejecting the mathematics that the SCOTUS asked for was even more horrible.

The federalist society must be taken apart, they have pushed this minority rule for a generation now.

Trump won 32% of the vote in Massachusetts. He won ~40% of the vote in Connecticut

How many of the 9 US House seats in MA or 5 in CT does common sense say should be Republican?

I was referring to the percent of votes that the Republican candidate got for state house and state Senate. If I remember correctly from the SCOTUS case. The Republican candidates won 51 percent of the overall state vote and had a supermajority in either the 2016 or 2018 election.

Can't compare to popular vote of president because not the same.
