All Bets, and Polls, are Off in Wisconsin

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/05/17/1092522/-All-Bets-and-Polls-are-Off-in-Wisconsin

The right is trying to discourage us by pushing that Marquette poll saying that Barrett is 5 point down from Walker. I teach statistics and I can tell you that all polling is meaningless at this point. There are too many hangups from the Barrett supporters to get a meaningful sample. What's really going on is that what we're doing is too new to know what's going to happen. All bets are off.

We are in uncharted territory. We're on the cutting edge of unprecedented political change. This has the DNC running scared. The Koch Brothers running scared. ALEC running scared. This level of political involvement by normal middle Americans is everything they don't want to see. They are trying to drag us back to their narrative of dismal expectations. Forget it.

They foresaw none of this. Not Scott Walker being recalled. Not Scott Fitzgerald being recalled. Not Dale Schultz standing strong and blocking the mine. None of it. They saw none of it. They don't know what's gonna happen June 5th.

I've stopped looking at polls. Too upsetting.

And I see the polls as an attempt to legitimize the theft of that election...I don't think they will allow any recall of walker even if they have to obviously steal the election...
And if they do steal it and it is obvious what will we do?....nothing but complain and be put into the dungeon of a conspiracy theorist and be ridiculed for it....they game us every time.

of winning. It would be nice to see them let their guard down and then get creamed in the election.

The best way for us to win is for everyone to come together and there would be an overwhelming majority for Barrett.
Milw. has got to come out & vote!! In the primary only 28% of Milw.'s eligible voters came to the polls while in Waukesha approx. 39% voted.

As Karl Rove said 'they create reality now'

They pay for some polls to make up the results they want...they pay the corporate media to pretend it is all true...they pay their minions to steal the election for them....then the media covers it all up afterward.

Walker had lost.

He defunded the schools. They began to fail. His corporate backers came to the rescue and began buying naming rights to the schools. Later that became job training centers for the corporation's jobs. The corporation selected the students who excelled at manual labor and sent them to manual labor apprenticeships, those who were proficient at keying were sent to cashiering school. Since few people 'really' need a college education the few who have intellect are selected for the special college sponsored by the corporation.

Everyone becomes a nice profit center for the corporation which controls not only the product but the producer from cradle to grave.

I hope I wake up soon.

10. Turnout

Honestly I think Barrett can win this election. The polls maybe biased or it may be that the pollsters are uncertain of what democratic turnout will be, whereas its common knowledge that the republican voters in the state are going to turnout at a high level for Walker. The good news is that if we get a high enough democratic turnout Barrett wins because their are simply a lot more democratic potential voters than republican potential voters in the state.
