More recount volunteers needed in Waukesha County

Since the start of the recount two days ago, Waukesha County has barely accomplished anything. (In contrast, Milwaukee County counted about 50 wards on the first day. Let's hear it for Milwaukee!) Waukesha, however, has many people doing nothng for long stretches of time. The deadline is 10 days away, but one observer estimated that at the current pace it would take 33 days to complete the work on time, and that takes into consideration that they are working from 8am to midnight every day! (I assume they have several shifts.)

Why this is taking so long, and why they planned from the beginning to work 16-hour days, is troubling. More volunteers are needed to be on hand throughout the time to witness what is going on there. If you can possibly spare some time, contact one of the parties below to sign up. I think the late night shift is particularly important--who knows what may happen then? One thing to keep in mind--the Hillary volunteers are ordered not to raise any objections, just to note what they see and get vote totals. The Jill Stein volunteers are urged to make objections when necessary so there will be a record in case of further litigation.

If you go, be advised that you cannot take clipboards, folders, coats, or bags into the counting rooms, and you must show photo ID. Only red pens are allowed for writing. Dress warmly because the room is somewhat chilly unless many people are present.

Waukesha County is deep red and DEFINITELY dirty.

There--fixed it for you!

Of course they're poking along. They see themselves as the "Kingmakers" in WI. They elected Walker with their dirty tricks, now they're hoping to pull a fast one on Hillary.

I can absolutely imagine them poking along, just waiting until no one is watching and then amazingly counting 99% of the ballots in the 30 minutes no one is there to watch.

PLEASE everyone, if you can, get there and watch them. Mold dies in the sunlight. Shine light on their dirty tricks!

Remember the open bags of votes found in the Waukesha Co. Clerk's trunk? Found after the vote showed Kloppenburg won and had just enough votes to put the old fart onto the Court.

Yup. Despite the (possible?) presence of a few good apples, the Waukesha Co. government, and elections team taken as a whole is a wretched hive of scum and villainy to give Mos Eisley a run for its money.

Dirty, dirty, dirty, and unapologietic and proud of it.

Waukesha's count is being done on the machines that are used in each polling place, not a hand count. Between the feeding of ballots to these machines and the other work that precedes that, at a speed that has been compared to watching paint dry, they are seriously far from being able to finish by the deadline. This is unique among the other counties I've heard about, where work is humming along, including those doing hand counts (which is actually faster than feeding a machine). The whole process is so strange it makes one wonder what they are trying to prove (or hide). That's why we need people there all the time to at least witness and photograph problems with ballot bags, handling of ballots and other materials, and just anything that looks sketchy. There should be other observers there who can help explain what's going on and what to do. The Jill Stein website has information for observers.

Here's the link to watch the live stream (8 am to midnight).
