Scatty is part of the entire "wisconsin republican wonderfulness" meme used to sell conservative librtarianism to teahadists.

also did not hesitate to show us WHAT A BIG DOOFUS he could be answering questions and performing in a debate. The fawning local/state media just wont do that.... for whatever reason.

Although now Ive noticed they will show us less flattering shots of Walker than they did before - before he went national I didn't even know he had such a big bald spot! And the dopey looking eyes.

don't like The Donald. When The Donald trashed Walker, they rallied around him.

5. If you look at his approval rating (43%) that would about correlate to getting back the Republicans

He had lost a slice of (more moderate) Republicans when he sank into the mid-30's. I think he's gotten most of them back- thanks, as others have said, to the corporate/ right wing domination of the media in Wisconsin. They really have an (almost) monopoly... all the major AM radio stations around the state are Clear Channel, and the two biggest papers (Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and Wisconsin State Journal) slant conservative. The only left-leaning paper in the state with any significant circulation is the Madison Cap Times.

That, and he is very, very good at divide and conquer. He's managed to convince almost half of a state that all their problems are the fault of public school teachers and pinhead university professors.

Walker quoted after the primary in a Politifact/Milwaukee Journal article:

"I think sends a clear message that anyone who doubts that we’re not back and re-engaged in Wisconsin, they don’t doubt it after last night."

Sykes said: "Yeah, you got your mojo back, didn’t you, Scott?"

"Absolutely," Walker said.
