Prior to being given a ballot today, the election workers had me sign my name in a book that listed the areas voters. I don't recall ever having to do that in the past. Was that required throughout the State? Is that the result of some new stupid make voting just a little bit more of a hassle law instituted by Walker and his rat brigade?
Signing the poll book is a new requirement signed into law by Walker.
Lots of people believe this is a requirement made to slow down so that fewer people will end up voting in a big presidential election where turnout could already take a long time, predominantly urban centers that vote democratic.

(64 posts)The lady at my polling place instructed me to sign my name as it appeared on the ledger. However, my usual and customary legal signature is NOT my name as it appeared on the ledger. So, if they try to challenge my vote, by comparing signatures, I'd be worried that my vote would be discarded.
