WI Supreme Court Election and Electing chief justice results April 7

Very happy to see Bradley ahead--actually most of night.

But sad to see the electing of SC Chief has been consistently behind all night

night and for some they really thought they (the people) would be electing the Chief with a Yes vote. Maybe that is playing out in wider WI tonight. Just a thought

How do you vote overwhelmingly for refs to raise the minimum wage and accept the medicare money, and then vote for Scott walker?

But you are right, the whole wording on the ref for electing the CJ was likely confusing to most people. As I imagine was intended.

He would raise the minimum wage. But he had already said no to both during the campaign.

so do we live in a sea of idiots? Likely yes,... Or are there e voting fraud schemes going on?

Are they stealing votes? skimming off the top.

Bad sign for Daley

Republicans and conservatives have to do well in Brown County to have a chance to win statewide, according to conventional wisdom.

That's why the returns there are not a good sign for challenger James Daley.

With almost 70 percent of the vote in, Justice Ann Walsh Bradley is up big there, winning more than 58 percent of the vote.

In winning re-election comfortably last fall, Gov. Scott Walker took 58.2 percent of the vote there.

Vote for Justice Ann Walsh Bradley today, or get this guy...
Grumpy conservative activist judge and now supreme court justice candidate James Daley says he's got no agenda. So I thought this was funny enough to repeat here, from Cognitive Dissidence:

"Can a judge be that dishonest that he would claim to be "non partisan" and hang out daily with bitter partisans like these two? Do we really want someone in the highest court who thinks a day with Vicki Mckenna is a good day?"

The other person is Brian Schimming who was high level in the Wisconsin Republican party but recently appointed by Scott Walker as COO of WHEDA to soak the taxpayers for Cadillac benefits and $128,000/yr.
