MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A newly formed group pushing for a right-to-work law in Wisconsin has launched a statewide radio ad a day after the Republican Senate leader said he wants quick action on a bill.

Wisconsin Right to Work announced it was airing the ads beginning Friday in Green Bay, Eau Claire, Madison, Milwaukee and Wausau media markets.

state wide opposition to and the way business interests propagandized against the NFO and how they targeted certain Dairy Farmers for their organizing efforts. When I read about how this group was targeting certain Media Markets, bingo, same shit sixty years later. Say thank you to the same business people for wiping out your Dairy Industry and giving you a starving shell of what it could have been. Same players just several generations latter.

but he's lying through his teeth when he says that. When the bill lands on his desk he'll sign it. Just another step in his pathetic divide-and-conquer-the-middle-class strategy.

GOP Again Shows Disdain for Working People in Rush to Pass “Right to Work” Legislation

The Democratic members of the Assembly Committee on Labor released the following statement today:

...“Republicans refuse to recognize the positive impact unions actually have on economic stability in our state. In the private sector especially, unions work with their managers to create roadmaps to productivity for their company. This cooperation provides stability not just for workers but equally for employers, who can count on a present and loyal workforce when they need it. Ask contractors in the construction industry how this model works for them, and you will often be told that it is necessary to their success. Republicans need to understand that ‘Right to Work for Less’ legislation will actually make doing business more difficult in the long run for Wisconsin employers.

“Wisconsin’s middle-class families have been suffering ever since Republicans attacked workers and divided our state with Act 10. Passing ‘Right to Work for Less’ legislation would only further harm middle-class workers and goes directly against the will of the voters who overwhelmingly supported increasing wages for workers in last month’s election. Our focus needs to be on building a stronger economy that promotes economic fairness so that every person in Wisconsin has a fair shot at the American Dream.”

Statement from Senator Jon Erpenbach on pledges to pass Right to Work bill

“Right to Work legislation has nothing to do with the right to work. It has everything to do with a failed public policy that has proven to hurt working families and the economy. Governor Walker and the Republican majority have been given everything they've asked for, yet Wisconsin families continue to struggle and our job growth is dismal at best. So called Right to Work legislation only guarantees a loss of jobs and lower wages for the jobs that are left. Maybe we should try to come up with some innovative policies to see if they could work rather than plagiarize failed policies of other states just out of spite and political games. Wisconsin deserves better. Our people deserve better than failure and political games.”
