Though Sen. Schultz (R) will vote 'no', it seems likely that Sen. Tim Cullen (D) may change his vote to to 'aye' for passage of the Bill. Cullen has for the most part been a DINO.

(3,577 posts)it puts to rest the rumor that was reported earlier today about Sen. Tim Carpenter planning to vote for the bill (supposedly because it would help his chances of being elected Milwaukee County Treasurer). I would not want to think he would do that.

The vote was another setback for the effort to streamline mining regulations, but legislative leaders still cling to hope they can approve a bill before the legislative session ends next week.
The measure senators rejected 17-16 was a version that the Legislature's Joint Finance Committee had approved Monday. Majority Republicans hope to send the matter to a legislative committee later Tuesday so they can bring it up another day.
