Mike Malloy is back on 92.1 the Mic tonight

Last edited Fri Mar 9, 2012, 02:26 AM - Edit history (1)

(edit to update)

Mike Malloy show has returned to its regular 4 hour delayed timeslot on 92.1 FM in Madison. The Norman Goldman replacement must have been a test run.

(ORIGINAL from earlier)

Although the website of 92.1 the Mic (WXXM), Madison's progressive talk station (simulcast on 107.3 HD3 in Milwaukee too!) lists Mike Malloy on the schedule for 12AM-3AM (CT), right now I'm hearing Norman Goldman instead. I tuned in just now (from California) to hear the first hour that I missed, although I did hear hours 2 and 3 of Mike Malloy.

A week or so ago (checked Thom's guest list...it was early 2/24) I was listening to Malloy on WXXM. Then for some reason the third hour was replaced by the first hour of Thom Hartmann (whose show is played after Malloy's). It's also the first of the month, so I wonder if this is an unannounced schedule change or a bungle in the control room. Has WXXM been playing Malloy regularly the past few days?

He never refers to someone by their real name, no, Republicon's, Santorium, Rmoney and other silly names. Remnicent of the nuts on the right who always call the Democratic party - Democrat party.

I'd rather listen to Norm than (coughcough) that other lawyer during his timeslot (which is 3-6PM PT), Mark Levin. Goldman once sued Mercury Insurance for dishonestly representing the role of brokers. And his name-calling is his way of responding to the RW hosts who say "Democrat party" and make up nicknames for Dems.

followed by Thom Hartmann, 2am-5am. Malloy (a "Best of" edition I presume) is now on only early Sundays 2am-5am.
