Office of Lawyer Regulation Dismisses Complaint Against Happ
Jefferson — “The Office of Lawyer Regulation has notified me, and the complainant who filed a grievance, that the complaint has been dismissed. A copy of the OLR letter, with the complainant’s name redacted, is attached.
I have said from the beginning that this case was handled correctly and in accordance with State Supreme Court rules. I properly screened myself off from any decision making in the case. I am pleased that has been confirmed independently by the Office of Lawyer Regulation.
I hope we can now return, in the three weeks remaining in this campaign for Attorney General, to a discussion of the serious issues in the race, and who can best serve the people of Wisconsin. I look forward to that discussion.”
