Van Wanggaard - Mining - "It's My Bill" (excellent news herein)

http://www.politiscoop.com/us-politics/wisconsin-politics/758-van-wanggaard-mining-qits-my-billq.html

...The audience member injects again "Oh so they were in on the planning?" in which Van Wanggaard replied "oh well I don't know if they were in on the planning, I'm not on the mining task force". Then later in the volley of questions the senator was asked if he would vote for the bill, after a moment of dodging the question, Van Wanggaard tersely replies "Am I going to vote on it? It's my bill!".

So there is the answer many have been seeking. Senator Van Wanggaard authored the mining bill but cannot remember the name of the tribes that will be harmed by the effects of his legislation. From 360 miles away, the senator from Racine, Wisconsin knows what is best for those who live in the Penokee mountain area.....

Under questioning by Doug Poland, a lawyer for the plaintiffs, he (Kennedy) acknowledged that the upcoming recall elections of four Republican senators would be conducted under the old redistricting lines, not the new plan, if the recall petitions are certified. There is a bill pending that would require the new boundary lines to be used in the recall, he said. Kelly (a lawyer for the defense) said the defense was willing to stipulate that the old boundaries would be used in the recall elections. Judge J.P. Stadtmueller said the agreement should be put in writing. (Parenthesis added)
