Walker on his Economic Record and Time list
Scott Walker came to friendly territory in Kiel and talked about his economic record and Time list. Of course he sugarcoated everything. Oh yeah, he is 150,000 jobs short of his stated goal. His economic ads in MN and IL are not doing as much as he wants them to.

Walker took the opportunity to tout his economic record, mentioning 100,000 new jobs added in Wisconsin in the last four years as well as the unemployment rate, which is currently below 6 percent.
.....
I think its part of a good trend, Walker said. It gives new people a chance to have a say and have an opportunity, to make sure we continue to have voices representing taxpayers across the state and I think thats part of a logical transition.
Walker also commented on last weeks inclusion of him in Time magazines list of the 100 most influential people in the country, giving credit to all the legislators who helped make the changes that landed him on the list.
For us, its not anything Ive done specifically, in that regard, its really about what weve done here in Wisconsin, Walker said. People get to hear the story of how we turned things around, how things are much better today than they were four years ago, how we took on the big government special interests and put the power back in the hands of the taxpayers again. I think thats a good story to tell./i]
