JetSuiteX launches Boeing Field's first passenger service in decades

A private airline has launched passenger service from Boeing Field marking the first time in nearly 50 years that commercial passengers have been able to fly out of the regional airport.

JetSuiteX, which operates 30 jets out of private terminals, welcomed its first flight at Boeing Field on Monday. The inaugural flight arrived at Boeing Field at 9 a.m. then headed to Oakland International Airport.

The public charter air carrier will offer three daily flights to Oakland with tickets starting at $99. Flights leave Boeing Field at 9:40 a.m., 4 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. Return flights leave Oakland at 7 a.m., 1 p.m., and 5 p.m.

Travelers are asked to arrive just 20 minutes before their flight and are required to go through a screening process, which the company says meets TSA requirements.
