These Washingtonians have donated the most to Donald Trump this year
President Donald Trump has plenty of supporters in Washington state, which ranks 10th in the nation for campaign donations this year, finance records show.
Trump, a Republican who won the White House in 2016, has received more than 4,000 donations to his campaign this year, according to the latest report filed with the Federal Election Commission.
Those donations total $251,950.54. A small chunk of that sum has come from 20 Washingtonians who have pledged $1,000 or more, but thousands of smaller donations make up a much larger share of the funds.
The Trump campaign has received donations as small as 75 cents from all over the state and from people of various professions.
Lynnwood plumbing business owner Daryl Miller is the only person from Washington to give the maximum of $5,600 allowed directly to Donald J. Trump for President, his primary campaign committee. This does not take into account donations to political action committees.
