Russell Wilson awards $100,000 in scholarships to 8 students
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, in partnership with his Why Not You Foundation, awarded eight graduating high school students $100,000 dollars in scholarship money to split.
Wilson and his Why Not You Foundation partnered with the College Success Foundation to create the Why Not You Scholarship Program back in February.
The foundation is designed to help students continue their education at either a trade school, community college or four-year University.
Wilson is in the video, personally congratulating each of the eight winners and explaining how the program is designed to work.
