1 injured, 'several' detained after shooting in downtown Seattle
One man suffered non-life threatening injuries and several were detained after a shooting in downtown Seattle Monday.
The shooting was reported around 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of Second Avenue and Pine Street. Officers and medics responded to reports of shots fired. The injured man was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
As of 2 p.m., "several" people had been detained in connection with the incident, Seattle Police said over the phone.
The investigation was ongoing. A K-9 was searching the area. Further details were not immediately available.
