Sonics legend Jack Sikma to be inducted into Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame

Jack Sikma is officially being enshrined with the other immortals of basketball.

It's about time.

The SuperSonics legend, who helped lead Seattle to its only NBA championship in 1979, is among the headliners of the 2019 Basketball Hall of Fame class announced Saturday at the Final Four.

Art Thiel of Sportspress Northwest reported Friday that Sikma was part of the class.
