Police Find 2 Pounds Of Meth In Wallingford Motel Room
SEATTLE, WA Seattle police and the Drug Enforcement Agency seized more than 2 pounds of methamphetamine from a suspected drug dealer working out of a Wallingford-area motel room, according to court documents.
Police arrested Scott Visnich outside the Wallingford Inn last October on a felony warrant for escape from community custody. Police found him in possession of about 13 grams of heroin, but he told them he didn't have any other drugs, and that he was about to "re-up" with his distributor in the amount of up to 4 pounds of meth.
But getting a search warrant, police found over 2 pounds of meth already inside his two-bedroom motel room, and in his car.
Visnich was indicted this week in federal district court in Seattle on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
