VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Donald Trump told a room filled with cheering volunteers that he could visit Washington state as early as May 7th.

The Columbian newspaper obtained supporter Valerie Vance’s recording of the call made to Trump’s campaign office in Vancouver, Wash. State chair, Don Benton, the state senator from Vancouver, put the call on speaker phone for volunteers to here.

"I wish I was there right now,” Trump said amid cheering. “It looks like May 7th is the time.”

“If we could get Washington, it would be unbelievable,” he said. “I hear the spirit there is incredible.”

The call comes just a couple of weeks before presidential primary ballots will be mailed out on May 6th.

Since Washington is a mail-in state, campaign sources have told KING 5 that candidates will likely be planning visits at the beginning of the month.

supporters could be an entirely different scene than with the Bernie crowd. It would be funny tho if the stadium decided not to sell alcohol to the Trumpeters, considering their reputation.

Dino by way never bothered to campaign in Seattle. Dino will show Trump around the state using the old highways skipping
Seattle and some other counties of little republican concern. And no doubt he'll show Trump some prime investment properties.
Or maybe he can ride along in Trump's helicopter showing Trump how to do the math all along the way !
