House of Representatives Faces vote on Fast Track after recess!
This is the time.
This fight has been a long time running. We have been urging the Washington Congressional Delegation for months now to vote "no" on Fast Track and to take down the Trans-Pacific Partnership and other bad trade deals. They are beginning to listen.
But now is the time to make them take a stance for all of us.
Our most recent blog post highlights our successful National Day of Action earlier this month, letters from an impressive 2000 organizations opposing the Ryan-Hatch Fast Track bill, and Rep. McDermott voting no on Fast Track in Committee (thank you!). All of that information can be found here
But the fact remains that it WILL NOT be enough unless we act now! There is no better time than right now to join us in taking action this congressional recess to get the message home to our Reps that Washingtonians DO NOT ACCEPT FAST TRACK.
We are planning actions DAILY at key representatives' offices during this crucial recess. All details are below and if you have ever wanted to get involved in this issue, we cannot stress enough that the time is NOW.
This is THE recess of the fight against Fast Track/TPP! Join us or it may be too late.

Stand up to Corporate Trade Deals! Wednesday, Tacoma (RSVP here)
Rep. Derek Kilmer, a key swing vote on Fast Track, is speaking at a community forum "Of, By, and For the People: Taking our Democracy Back From Special Interests."
He needs to hear from us. Join us for this day of action to make it clear that a vote for Fast Track would strengthen corporate rights and weaken our democracy.
