Related: About this forumChance to meet in Seattle next year? I will be speaking at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show
http://www.gardenshow.com/My talks (as of now) are scheduled for Sat Feb 14 at 6:45 and Sun Feb 15 at 3:15 - my wife and I will be out there certainly prior to and after (hoping to line up some events at local garden clubs, bookstores - organizing this thing is just at the beginning stage). My tomato book is scheduled to be out on Dec 10, so the timing works well.
While we are out there, we will probably be looking to include Vancouver, Portland - whatever we can squeeze in - this is all new to me, and I don't quite know what to expect!

(5,376 posts)2. Hey, this is great news. Congrats!
I'm sure it will be an amazing experience and I bookmarked the site for updates. I have family who live north of Seattle. Will definitely let them know so they can get it on their calendars and enjoy your talks. And kudos on the book!
If you can arrange it, you should definitely go to Vancouver and ferry over to Victoria as well, to visit the Butchart Gardens. You may be familiar with them--an absolutely gorgeous place.
Best wishes!
