Former Governor Booth Gardner has died

the 19th Governor of the State of Washington, Both Gardner (D) has died at the age of 76 per KOMO news of Seattle, Washington. Gardner was governor form 1985-1993 and before that Pierce County Executive. Thank you for your service!

Gardner family spokesman Ron Dotzauer announces that a public memorial service honoring the late Gov. Booth Gardner will be held on Saturday, March 30 at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. Gardner, who served two terms as governor of Washington State, from 1985 to 1993, died Friday, March 15 at the age of 76.

■What: Public Memorial Service for Gov. Booth Gardner
■Where: Memorial Fieldhouse, University of Puget Sound, Tacoma
■When: Saturday, March 30, 11 a.m.
Details: A press riser will be set up in the Fieldhouse, along with a mult box.
