Live updates: 11th coronavirus death reported; families of Life Care residents speak out

Washington state’s coronavirus outbreak continues to escalate with an 11th death reported and 70 total cases, including one case in Grant County. Area roadways are noticeably less crowded as several schools are closed and employees are working from home. Vice President Mike Pence is meeting with Governor Inslee to discuss Washington state’s response to the outbreak.

Thursday

5:14pm – Vice President Mike Pence gave brief opening remarks to the media. He said the federal government is “here to help.” Pence said our state will be key in learning how to deal with the outbreak.

Pence, Inslee, and local government representatives will now go behind closed doors to talk about the coronavirus outbreak, federal funding, and what can be done in Washington state.

I wonder how that's going to go? Inslee wasn't very kind to Pence the last time they spoke.

Pence is a science-denier and I can't see my gov having any of that. If Pence is there to help, I can imagine Jay saying, "Then you can turn around and go home."

most just sitting there waiting.................
i spent 2 weeks in one 10 years ago after my first knee replacement
so i could use their re-hab room, which helped immensely.
My mom was in and out of them from Jan 2017 to September 2019.
Good if its temporary and your relatively healthy,
terrible if not.
