US 2 fully reopens over Stevens Pass after days of heavy snowfall
The final portion of US 2 near Skykomish has fully reopened to the public.
The stretch of US 2 between Skykomish and the Stevens Pass summit was closed for several days due to heavy snow and downed trees.
WSDOT crews worked all day to plow snow, clear debris and fix power lines.
US 2 over Stevens Pass could close again if conditions in the area worsen, so always check before you hit the road.
