Seattle ranks in the top 10 best cities for millennials. Here's why

If you're a millennial and are looking to move cities, Seattle might be a good choice.

A new study by CommercialCafe found the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue area ranks among the top 10 best cities for people between the ages of 25 and 34 to live and work.

The Seattle metro area takes the fourth spot on the list, partially due to the percentage of millennials in the city, and the portion that have employment-based health insurance.

To determine which cities were best for millennials, the commercial real estate blog used data from the U.S. Census bureau and analyzed several different factors: millennial population growth between 2014 and 2018, the proportion of millennials in the overall population, regional price parity, millennial unemployment rate, percentage of millennials in the labor force with a bachelor's degree, percentage of millennials with employer-based health insurance and commuting times.
