Sea-Tac Airport opens access to secure areas for people without tickets

SEA-TAC AIRPORT, Wash. -- Starting on Monday, people visiting the airport will be able to get past security without a boarding pass. It is a level of access that hasn't been seen since the September 11 terrorist attacks, and it comes just in time for the holidays.

For people who venture inside the terminal to pick someone up, most reunions take place in baggage claim. That’s where Jennifer Hayden likes it.

“I have no problem waiting at baggage claim,” Hayden said.

Next week, Sea-Tac will allow up to 100 people to get past TSA and go all the way to the gates where the jets pull up.
