The Virginia High School League has canceled all sports for the rest of the school year, although it has not ruled out letting spring teams return for some summertime action.

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam announced Monday that K-12 schools will remain closed for the rest of the school year because of the coronavirus pandemic, so the VHSL announced later in the day that all sports are canceled for the rest of the spring.
