A farming empire: JK Moving's Kuhn acquires 305 acres from Sandy Lerner

JK Moving Services CEO and Founder Chuck Kuhn has acquired 305 acres of western Loudoun farmland from Cisco Systems Co-Founder Sandy Lerner for $4 million.

One of the largest land owners in the county, Kuhn said his goal is to expand the operations of his nonprofit JK Community Farm, according to the Washington Business Journal. The farmland, which is adjacent to his Lincoln area home, totals 1,400 acres.

Kuhn told the Times-Mirror that securing the deal took approximately four years. The land will be used to expand the beef operation by grazing cattle.
