I saw the ad on TV for the first time last night.

Democratic House candidate compares Trump to Osama bin Laden. White House calls it ‘reprehensible.’

The White House on Thursday denounced a campaign ad produced by a Democrat seeking the nomination to challenge Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-Va.) that compared President Trump to Osama bin Laden.

The ad flashes an image of bin Laden followed by one of the White House as the candidate, Army veteran Dan Helmer, says, “After 9/11, the greatest threat to our democracy lived in a cave; today he lives in the White House.”

Helmer uses the line in nearly every public appearance, but the 30-second spot, slated to air on broadcast television from Thursday until the June 12 primary, provoked a response from the Trump administration.

{So? Snip.}

Trump does not have a pious bone in his body. He uses Christianity just like Hitler did.

He is saying it like it is.

And.....if this is reprehensible, then this is what we need more of.

Go get 'em, Dan Helmer!

Max Cleland, Senate candidate.
Decorated disabled war veteran.
Repubs morphed his face into bin Laden in a TV commercial.
So spare me from their mock outrage.

But - I like this ad. Looking at this District - it will spark some fire. Good for him. And even better that it got the WH's attention.

This guy just might have a shot - past years election results:

2016 President Clinton 52.2–42.2%[9]
2017 Governor Northam 56.6–43.3%[10]
Lieutenant Governor Fairfax 54.2–45.8%
Attorney General Herring

I'll bookmark this one, see how he does - and watch to see if he needs donations.
