Our choices:
*Justin Fairfax, former Assistant United States Attorney and candidate for Attorney General in 2013.
*Susan Platt, political consultant for tobacco corporation Altria and former chief of staff to Joe Biden.
*Gene Rossi, former Assistant United States Attorney and former gubernatorial aide.
Sooo, Fairfax or Rossi?
And Platt? She's a Hell-No because no matter how much I love Biden, a consultant for tobacco corporation Altria will never get my vote.
Thanks.

(3,148 posts)I used to go to that site all the time. After watching Northam supporters get attacked for posting their support of Northam. I've been searching for another Virginia political news opinion site.
rogue emissary
(3,148 posts)There's a very simple reason for that assessment. Since I started checking their sites and Twitter feeds back in 2016. Fairfax was the first to post positions to his site.
Rossi, for example, has only four policy positions on his site and I think they've only been up for a months or two.
I don't really know much about Platt and the work she did for Altria. Platt's biographical video didn't cover it and that was the only thing she had on her site for months.
A candidate's campaign site is just one part of their campaign, but to me it's important. Frankly, it gives me the impression that they don't want to be held to any of their positions when they won't post them on their site.
They're all pretty liberal and I'd be fine with Platt or Rossi. It's just when you have a primary and there aren't drastic differences between the candidate running. Getting out first with positions is going to make a difference.
