Lt. Gov candidate Susan Platt received death threats

This story is based on a Twitter thread but thought I'd share anyhoo. Someone actually broke into her house too. The police are investigating.

1. It's disgusting but what the hell has Platt said or done for someone to threaten her?

A week ago she called for Donny to be impeached, but Platt is not a very outspoken candidate. Her policy positions have only been on her website for one or two months at the most.

No candidate deserve to be threatened. I'm a political junky, and the only thing I could say about Platt is she worked for Biden. Just can't imagine that making someone so angry they'd risk going to jail.

2. It's worked successfully on two other Democratic candidates

So, why not? That's not to say I advocate for this because I don't but I'm sure that's the mindset of the "people" doing it.

3. I know about Weaver pulling out because of threats.

Which pisses me off as I enjoyed hearing her positions on Am Joy.

Who was the other Democrat getting threats, or are you referring to Platt as well?
