Witchcraft-obsessed townsfolk try to drive out teen who opened Naughty Girls Donut Shop

A Virginia teen who opened her own business said she’s been targeted by a conservative group in her “Footloose town.”

Tiana Ramos, a 16-year-old high school senior, owns and operates Naught Girls Donut Shop at a shopping mall in her hometown, Front Royal.

She works at the 1950s pinup-themed bakery before and after school, along with other teens dressed in rockabilly-style clothing.

But the store’s name, and its framed artwork featuring photos of Marilyn Monroe and Betty Page, have drawn the ire of “a strong Conservative Alliance group” in the town, accusing Ramos and her business of promoting promiscuous behavior.

Seems like much ado about nothing.

I'm impressed that a 16 year old owns her own business.

Make some Jesus Donuts(TM) with his image baked into the donut. Maybe fill it with Holy Cream Delight(TM).

It is one thing if it is their idea, but it is a little creepy for an adult owner to make minor employees dress up like that.

They bleeped out the investor's name in the video. I am skeptical that she is the real owner. The banks would not even let me control my bank account when I was her age.

Some random person just throws $100k at them based on one meeting?

I wonder if whoever put up the cash also drummed up the controversy... seems like some very clever PR minds are behind this operation!

Imagine what is probably a man in his 50's or 60's handing that costume to a 16 year old employee and saying "Here...wear this"

Like I said, it's fine if it was the kids idea, but I think the mystery investor, or perhaps the mother is the real owner.
