But I say Go go go!

Heirloom apples are so varied and tasty. Every year I look forward to our own stores that bring out the small batches of Heirlooms.

It'll be a nice drive and you'll experience taste sensations you've never had before.

The only downside for me is waiting the whole year for my favorites to come back.

We have trees in our yard, and give away many apples to family and friends. There are more apples than we can handle.

Tonight, we are going to a Democratic dinner and fundraiser. They have a silent auction. We are donating apples for them to auction.

Go to a farmers' market, if they have one near you. Go to a real farm if you can, and avoid the Disneyland atmosphere of some of these places.
