More Challenges to Bastrop State Park

An update on the conditions at the park after heavy rains and flooding on January 26, 2012. Lots of erosion and work to be done. AmeriCorps workers cleaning out clogged culverts, building wind rows, and doing some great work. Yes, you still got camping and hiking in some areas of the park. It's a good idea to call the park (512-321-2101) or check the website (www.tpwd.state.tx.us) before you visit.

I can't thank them enough for what they are doing. All of these young kids. Love them all.
