Santorum was in Texas

I saw on the local news that Santorum was in Texas for some fund raising. The Texas GOP is missing out on some attention by not having our primary. The Texas GOP can thank Greg Abbott for this mess.

A split primary may be the only way to have a primary in April. Texas has 14% of the delegates needed to be nominated and there would be some fun advertising in Texas if the Texas primary was conducted prior to the race being settled.

Perry's base was always the religious right who are the same people who are supporting Santorum. Remember, the leaders of the religious right met in Brenham Texas a month or so ago and decided to support Santorum over Newt.

The Texas GOP has to be upset with Greg Abbott and the fact that we can not have a primary at a time when it matters in the GOP race

They are laying hands on Santorum in Dallas http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/08/rick-santorum-church_n_1263859.html?ref=politics

Then, as if in thanks, the pastors in the Bella Donna Adriatica Chapel in McKinney, Texas, gathered around Santorum in the church's central aisle for a laying-on of hands. "Get a hand on Rick, or get a hand on someone who has a hand on Rick," said the host.

Surrounding him like a pious rugby scrum, they prayed that God would direct the former Pennsylvania senator's steps as he seeks the Republican nomination.

This is very very strange to me. Does this mean that Santorum is a holy relic or saint?

This is the kind of thing that makes me cringe and stay away from organized religion. Just hate the fan club.
