Texas A&M fraternity pledges ticketed for chalking up University of Texas campus
A group of Texas A&M University fraternity pledges found themselves in trouble with the law earlier this month after University of Texas police found them adding some Aggie flair to the rival campus.
According to a University of Texas log of campus activity, officers responded around 10 a.m. on April 14 to a report that several people in maroon shirts were using chalk to write on the campus' main building.
One of the students told officers that he and nine others Texas A&M students pledging the Latino-oriented Sigma Lambda Beta fraternity had used chalk to draw several large A&M logos around the campus.
The student explained that the group was sent on a scavenger hunt and needed to draw the logo.

[font color=maroon]One of the students said that they needed photos of them drawing the emblem as proof to obtain scavenger points. Furthermore, if they had a photo taken with a policeman then it earned bonus points.

The officers of Sigma Lambda Beta conferred two days after the incident to schedule the fall semester panty raid at the first-year women's dormitory.
