Navasota teen charged after bomb threat at high school
The Navasota Police Department has charged a 17-year-old in connection to a bomb threat at Navasota High School.
Christopher Brice of Navasota was charged with making a false alarm, a state jail felony, after investigators traced him to the bomb threat, city officials said.
Officials with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives responded to the school Wednesday morning with a bomb-sniffing dog after the school was notified of a possible bomb on campus.
The dog was not able to detect any explosives, and the report was determined to be a hoax.
